Meet the Frog Consultants

Frogs Consulting team comprises of several consultants and a choice selection of competent technical resources to back them up, all with skills and experiences in different areas and industry proven track records. Here's a bit more about the guys behind the Frog:

Mike Dawes

Mike's first Senior Consultancy role was in a small business-to-business consultancy in the UK in 1996, providing a full range of IT services to local SME's. Mike was heavily involved with the pre-sales, solution design, build of hardware and delivery & installation. After that, Mike went on to work in local government specialising in Windows and Citrix infrastructure until 2006 when he and his family moved to New Zealand. Since arriving in New Zealand, Mike has continued his work in government infrastructure with solid experience in design and integration of hardware, data centre management, storage solutions, sales, marketing and web solutions.

Ryan Goulakos

Ryan began his career in IT with design and consulting work for local businesses in Wellington. His main focus was building networks and systems in small environments, servicing and building PC's and the design and build of Cyber Cafe networks and systems. Ryan worked for a vendor providing consulting services including e-commerce with ColdFusion, services and training for the Mercury testing software suite, and the design and implementation of helpdesk management systems. He then moved into a role in local government providing support for early windows versions, Unix/HP-UX, Omniback, Arcserve and backup management. For the past 9 years Ryan has focused on Cisco network admin and architecture, specialising in VOIP and security, and has worked as an architect on VOIP solutions with over 10,000 end points.

Colin Pope

Colin delivers a rare combination of architecture, consultancy and business skills, with a breadth of expertise covering Unified Communications, Networks, Security and Datacentres. With more than 25 years ICT experience gained from roles in large multinationals, Colin brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to his clients. He was identified as a top technical leader at IBM, and was recipient of a Cisco Achiever award for his work with DataCentre solutions.

Derek Bugden-Brown

Derek has been in the IT industry for 10 years and has had wide range of different and challenging roles. During this time Derek has worked on designing, implementing and supporting server hardware and infrastructure and more recently Derek has become involved with IP Telephony technology. Along with Derek's Cisco VoIP skill set is his ability to support and maintain Cisco LAN and WAN environments. Over the years Derek has also been responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with vendors and internal customers of all levels.
